Vets and all staff are very nice, actually care about my pet. Appointments are quick but efficient- no waiting. There is also a grassy area for pets to potty next to the building, and a really good (but $) pet supply store nearby- quality toys, leashes and collars.
We have taken 3 of our dogs here for 10 years. Recently, one of my dogs had an abscess tooth and his face was puffy. When I called they told me they could not get him in for a week. They said I had to take him to an urgent care facility. So disappointed that a place we have spent money at for 10 yrs and emergency comes up and they could not see our dog. Apparently they are no longer family owned, they are owned by a corporation so I feel the bottom line is all about the money. I will not be going back!
Another place that needs to reflect on if they can’t service the needs of existing patients whether they should be taking on any new clients. We have brought our two pups here for over 5 years, and our experience has been generally okay. Unfortunately, our pup is sick and the only available appointment is on Monday. When you can’t rely on this place in a pinch, it makes you wonder why you should take your pets there at all.
I have a 3 year old Papillon (Alfie) and have taken him to numerous groomers in the past and because he has the unique ears, tail and legs with this breed, I have had bad luck with these areas being respected with their grooming UNTIL NOW !!!! **RAYANE** has groomed him a couple times now and not only does she do it "Perfectly", he loves her attention and gentleness. I couldn't be more thrilled to have found a groomer who understands the uniqueness of certain breeds & gives the perfect cut etc. Additionally - her nail cuts/grind are the best and shorter then anyone else has done (my legs are happy). I will be a lifetime customer of hers! Thank you for hiring such a sweet, talented young lady. :)
We used to love it here, but the last 2 to 3 years have been horrible. We don't get calls back until days or weeks later. We've had issues with refills for our diabetic cat. Boarding scheduling is difficult for our dog. Frustrating after so many years we are now looking for a new vet
This is the absolute worst vet clinic I've used. My fiance has used them for other pets so I gave it a shot, but all they want to do is overcharge you and upsell. On previous visits, they tried to sell unnecessary vaccines (our specialty vet told us that certain ones are not recommended given the current situation of one of our dogs).
Today after being promised that I would not need an exam for the special needs dog (he goes to a specialist every two weeks at another clinic), they would not administer the vaccine we scheduled. They would if I paid for an exam, however. Feels deceptive and was a waste of my time - don't tell me you won't charge me, let me show up for an appointment, and then insist on charging me. To make matters worse, the tech didn't even know what vaccine we were there for - she said rabies when we were scheduled for distemper.
We have been using Caring Hands vet for several years and have always had a good experience. We had boarded our dogs there a few times and it was always fine. It has undergone some changes and was closed for a bit. We ended up having to go elsewhere and had negative experience, so we were very excited when it reopened. We just boarded them there this past week (first week of October) and it was one of the best experiences we've had while boarding. I am very much an overprotective Dog Mom, and Dylan made it clear he cared about our dogs and that they were in good hands. He was so accommodating and quick to respond whenever I reached out. When we picked them up I am pretty sure they were disappointed to come home. I highly recommend for boarding!!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! If I could rate negative stars I would. I cannot believe the lack of respect given to me and my dog. This place has an incredible amount of staff turnover and now I know why. The front desk was incredibly …
